The following listings, in alphabetical
order, are support groups and services provided by Los Angeles area
synagogues of all denominations. Most synagogue rabbis will briefly
counsel congregants after a loss, and some will also meet briefly
with community members who are not congregants. Some support groups
are housed at, rather than managed by, these synagogues. Most of
these support groups are open to the public.
Most synagogues provide daily and Shabbat services for all mourners
to pray and recite the Kaddish with a community; contact your nearest
synagogue for more details. You can link to www.jewishla.org and
navigate to the ‘Community Guide’ option on the side
of the page for synagogue contact information.
